Overview

Waymo is hiring a Software Quality Operations Specialist to lead projects in the Integration Lifecycle, ensuring the safety and reliability of the Waymo Driver. This role is critical to the expansion of Waymo's autonomous vehicle service across new cities.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in software quality operations, ideally with experience in integration tooling and lifecycle management. Your expertise in ensuring safety and reliability in technology products is complemented by your ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You are detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to navigate complex challenges in the autonomous driving technology space. Your communication skills enable you to effectively convey insights and collaborate with various stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the Integration Lifecycle, leading projects from conception to execution. You will work closely with the SWQOps Tooling and Integrations team to drive strategic initiatives that enhance launch velocity for new products and automation. Your contributions will be vital in scaling Waymo's operations safely and efficiently as the company expands into new cities.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing processes that ensure the quality and reliability of the Waymo Driver, leveraging your expertise to provide crucial insights that support the deployment and growth of Waymo's autonomous vehicle service. You will collaborate with engineering teams to integrate quality operations into the development lifecycle, ensuring that safety and reliability are prioritized at every stage.

What we offer

Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $120,000—$151,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan. The company also offers a generous benefits program, supporting your health and well-being as you contribute to the mission of improving mobility and safety through autonomous driving technology.
