You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve project goals. Your technical skills include proficiency with essential network devices, particularly firewalls, and you are familiar with the latest networking technologies. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and reviewing Engineering Design Plans (EDPs) for various sites, ensuring they meet the company's design standards. You will validate and implement Method of Procedures (MOPs) that guide both internal teams and external partners in network deployment. Your day-to-day tasks will involve deploying and configuring essential network devices, including firewalls, to support Waymo's autonomous fleet operations. You will collaborate with the Digital Transformation team to define and build the IT architecture that underpins the commercial operation of Waymo's services. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of the network infrastructure, enabling Waymo to maintain its position as a leader in autonomous driving technology. You will also participate in troubleshooting and resolving network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. As part of a hybrid team, you will have the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely, fostering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of £103,000—£111,000 GBP, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
