What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for growing and curating Waymo’s data lake, which encompasses various data sources including onboard software, evaluation, simulation, and commercial data. You will collaborate closely with partner teams to build expertise and empathy, ensuring that the data infrastructure meets the needs of different stakeholders. You will lead efforts to develop playbooks that guide the integration of data into product development processes, helping to drive the adoption of autonomous driving technology in the market. You will also engage in user research to understand the needs of customers and translate those insights into product features. Your role will involve defining success metrics for data initiatives and working with engineering teams to implement solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability. You will participate in cross-functional meetings to align on product strategy and ensure that data initiatives are prioritized effectively. You will also contribute to the overall vision of Waymo by advocating for data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What we offer

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with participation in a discretionary annual bonus program and equity incentive plan. You will have access to generous company benefits, subject to eligibility requirements.
