What you'll do
In this role, you will architect, implement, and validate control and estimation algorithms that ensure the safe and comfortable movement of the Waymo Driver. You will engineer mission-critical C++ software on-vehicle to ensure reliable autonomous vehicle control, contributing to the development of cutting-edge technology in the autonomous driving space.
You will build tools in Python and C++ to simulate and analyze vehicle performance, extracting actionable insights from complex field data and simulations. Your findings will have a high impact on the development and refinement of the Waymo Driver, helping to shape the future of mobility.
What we offer
Waymo provides a competitive salary range of $204,000—$259,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
