Who you are

You have a strong background in technical program management, ideally with experience in the automotive or technology sectors. You are comfortable diving deep into technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on goals and tasks. Your ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders is essential, as you will be the bridge between engineering teams and OEM partners. You are proactive in prioritizing and advocating for execution towards various milestones across competing programs. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to roll up your sleeves to tackle day-to-day operational challenges.

Desirable

Experience in autonomous driving technology or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with software development processes and release management will help you excel in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new approaches to support scaling needs as Waymo continues to grow.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for executing Waymo’s roadmap by working closely with every function at Waymo, particularly Engineering. You will drive alignment on requirements and milestones between Waymo’s Systems & Software teams and our OEM vehicle partners. Establishing appropriate software development and release processes will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that software is managed effectively from OEMs through to deployment on Waymo vehicles. You will be hands-on with day-to-day technical and operational issues, prioritizing tasks and advocating for execution towards various milestones across numerous competing programs. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to ensure that everyone is aligned and informed about progress and challenges.

What we offer

Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $230,000—$292,000 USD, along with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus program and an equity incentive plan. You will also enjoy a generous benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
