What you'll do
In this role, you will own the definition, tracking, and acceptance of collision avoidance scenarios critical to the Waymo Driver's performance. You will collaborate with internal teams to assess existing coverage and identify new scenarios as Waymo expands its capabilities. Your responsibilities will include working closely with partner teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and that resources are allocated effectively. You will design and execute tests that validate the performance of the Waymo Driver, ensuring that it meets the high standards set by the Systems Engineering team. You will also analyze test results, document findings, and provide recommendations for improvements. Your work will directly impact the safety and reliability of autonomous driving technology, making a significant contribution to Waymo's mission.
