Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in the automotive or autonomous vehicle sectors. Your background includes a strong understanding of vehicle systems, including Power Systems, Thermal Management, and Cybersecurity. You are adept at developing strategies for Verification and Validation (V&V) and have a proven track record of coordinating and supervising verification activities across multiple domains. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about ensuring the safety and performance of autonomous vehicles.

You possess excellent analytical skills and can translate complex requirements into actionable V&V campaigns. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of vehicle systems are tested and validated effectively. You are detail-oriented and have a strong commitment to maintaining high performance standards in engineering processes.

Desirable

Experience with autonomous vehicle platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to vehicle safety and performance. You may also have experience in project management, enabling you to plan and schedule V&V campaigns efficiently. A background in software and hardware integration will further enhance your ability to contribute to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and develop the strategy for Verification and Validation of Vehicle Systems for both new and existing autonomous vehicle platforms. This includes planning and scheduling V&V campaigns based on the scope of requirements, ensuring that all systems meet the necessary performance standards. You will coordinate and supervise verification activities across various domains, including Power Systems, Thermal Management, Infotainment, Networks, Body Controls, and Cybersecurity.

You will work closely with the Systems Engineering team to blend software and hardware systems in innovative ways. Your responsibilities will include designing and performing tests that validate the performance of vehicle systems, ensuring that they operate smoothly and safely. You will also be involved in analyzing test results and providing feedback to improve system designs and processes.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with other engineers and stakeholders to drive results and maintain strong teamwork. You will be expected to communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
