What you'll do

In this role, you will develop comprehensive test strategies and methodologies to support the rapid scaling of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. You will design and implement metrics and test plans that address off-nominal situations, ensuring the Waymo Driver operates safely and effectively under various conditions. Your work will involve creating simulated scenarios that test the vehicle's response to faults and remote assistance needs across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware engineers, to validate performance standards and ensure the safety of passengers. Your contributions will directly impact the commercialization of autonomous vehicles, making mobility safer and more accessible for everyone.
