What you'll do

In this role, you will define and own the standards, tools, and processes for all 3D design work at Waymo. You will collaborate with the Industrial Design Team to develop a cohesive design language that enhances the Waymo Driver's user experience. Your responsibilities will include creating high-quality 3D models and visualizations that communicate design concepts effectively. You will participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews, providing insights and feedback to ensure that the final product meets both aesthetic and functional requirements. You will also work closely with engineers to understand the technical constraints of your designs, ensuring that they can be realized in the final product. Your role will involve staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in visualization design, applying this knowledge to elevate Waymo's design standards. You will have the opportunity to pioneer new design solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible in autonomous driving technology.
