Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in designing and building scalable systems. Your expertise includes optimizing performance under heavy workloads, and you have a strong understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring fellow engineers, helping to elevate the technical capabilities of your organization.
You possess a deep knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python, and you are familiar with the principles of building robust, backwards-compatible systems. Your experience allows you to make informed technical choices that align with product goals, ensuring that the engineering team can deliver high-quality features to customers.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Runtime team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems for both local air-gapped environments and customer distributed deployments. You will drive the technical strategy for high-performance runtime components, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient. Your role will involve leading critical initiatives and collaborating closely with product owners to make technical choices accessible and understandable.
You will participate in shaping the architecture and processes of the engineering organization, contributing your insights to raise the bar for quality and performance.
