You are a linguist with expertise in translating from German to Simplified Chinese, particularly in the field of patents. You have a strong understanding of technical terminology and can accurately convey complex concepts in both languages. Your attention to detail ensures that translations are precise and meet the required standards. You are comfortable working independently and managing your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
What you'll do
As a German into Simplified Chinese Patent Translator, you will be responsible for translating patent documents related to electricity and computer science. You will ensure that all translations are accurate and adhere to the specific terminology used in the patent field. You will work remotely, allowing you to manage your workload flexibly while meeting the expected volume of 2,000 words per week. You will collaborate with the Talent Management team to ensure that your translations meet the quality standards set by Welocalize.
