Who you are
You are an experienced language professional with a strong understanding of Indonesian (Indonesia) and its nuances. You have a keen eye for detail and are committed to ensuring high-quality translations that align with project guidelines. Your background may include experience in translation, editing, or quality assurance in language services. You are familiar with machine translation and understand how to evaluate and improve its output. You are comfortable following style guides and terminology requirements to maintain consistency across content. You are proactive in identifying recurring quality issues and trends in machine translation outputs, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll do
In this role, you will edit and review machine-translated customer service content, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency. You will evaluate the quality of machine translation outputs and apply severity ratings as required, following the established project guidelines. Your work will involve producing high-quality human translations that serve as reference data for model training and quality evaluation. You will follow provided style guides, tone rules, and terminology requirements to ensure that the content meets the expected standards. Additionally, you will identify and report recurring quality issues and batch-level trends to help improve the overall quality of the machine translation process.
