You have extensive experience in tax operations, particularly in managing both U.S. and foreign income tax provisions and compliance processes. Your leadership skills enable you to effectively collaborate with various internal teams, including Controllership, Finance, and Strategic Finance, to drive the company's tax strategy forward. You are adept at optimizing cash tax flows and minimizing risks and tax exposures, ensuring that the organization remains compliant while maximizing efficiency.

You possess a strong understanding of global tax regulations and are capable of navigating complex tax environments. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess tax implications of business decisions and provide strategic insights to senior management. You are committed to fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement within the tax function, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle the evolving landscape of tax regulations.

What you'll do

In this pivotal role, you will own the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual tax provision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. You will lead the daily execution of tax operations, overseeing the development and implementation of tax strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will manage effective tax rates and work to optimize cash tax flows, identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.

You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving. As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to the Head of Tax and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company. Your role will involve staying abreast of changes in tax legislation and advising the organization on potential impacts, ensuring that Whatnot remains at the forefront of compliance and operational excellence.
