You have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with experience in budgeting and forecasting. Your analytical skills allow you to drive accuracy in financial reporting and empower business leaders to make informed decisions. You are proficient in financial modeling and have experience with FP&A tools, enabling you to enhance reporting and analysis processes. Your attention to detail ensures that all facets of OPEX spend and headcount planning are meticulously managed. You are a problem solver who enjoys tackling complex financial challenges and finding innovative solutions.
What you'll do
As a Senior FP&A Analyst at Whatnot, you will own the end-to-end forecasting process for key areas of the business, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial projections. You will collaborate closely with various teams to manage OPEX spend and headcount planning, particularly focusing on the Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) departments. Your role will involve developing and enhancing the internal FP&A tool, Pigment, to improve modeling and reporting capabilities.
You will play a crucial role in financial transformation initiatives, helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the FP&A team. Your insights will guide strategic decisions and support the company's growth trajectory. You will also have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and potentially lead FP&A verticals as the team expands.
