Overview
Wheely is seeking a Product Manager, UX to lead the roadmap of user-facing products with a focus on user privacy. You'll collaborate with engineers, designers, and data scientists, requiring experience in mobile product management and a strong grasp of design principles.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 2+ years of proven success leading consumer-facing mobile products, preferably on iOS — you understand the intricacies of mobile user experiences and have a keen eye for great UX/UI. Your solid grasp of design principles allows you to sketch preliminary wireframes that effectively communicate your vision. Outstanding written communication is one of your strengths, enabling you to maintain accurate feature specifications as the single source of truth for your team. You are highly analytical, capable of pulling your own numbers and conducting your own analysis to inform product decisions. A technical background, such as a Computer Science degree or past experience as an engineer, complements your product management skills and enhances your ability to collaborate with technical teams.
Desirable
Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with tools like Jira or Asana would be beneficial. A passion for user privacy and a desire to innovate in the ride-hailing space will set you apart.
What you'll do
As a Product Manager at Wheely, you will have sole responsibility over the roadmap of one of our user-facing products. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists, setting your team’s goals and roadmap to align with Wheely’s mission. Your role involves owning your team’s products from idea through development to launch, growth, and maintenance. You will collaborate with other product squads and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive product strategy. Your analytical skills will be crucial in defining success metrics and conducting user research to understand friction points in the onboarding journey. You will also be responsible for prioritizing features based on user feedback and market trends, ensuring that the product evolves in line with user needs and business objectives.
What we offer
Wheely expects excellence from its people — both on the road and in the office. In return, we offer flexible working hours, stock options, and a range of exceptional perks and benefits. You will receive a competitive salary and equity package, along with medical insurance that includes dental services. A monthly credit for Wheely journeys and a lunch allowance are also part of the package. We support your professional development with subsidies for courses and training. You will be equipped with the latest Silicon MacBook or MacBook Pro to ensure you have the tools you need to succeed. While Wheely has an in-person culture, we allow flexible working hours and the option to work from home when needed, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
