Who you are
You have a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in electronics, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier performance. Your experience includes collaborating cross-functionally to align product roadmaps with supplier capabilities, ensuring that sourcing strategies are effective and sustainable. You understand the complexities of managing supplier relationships and mitigating risks in a fast-paced consumer technology environment.
You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, allowing you to effectively manage supplier performance and drive improvements. Your analytical mindset helps you assess supplier capabilities and make data-driven decisions that align with WHOOP's mission to enhance human performance and healthspan. You are proactive in identifying potential supply chain risks and developing strategies to address them.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the strategic sourcing efforts for critical electronic components, ensuring that WHOOP maintains a competitive edge in the market. You will collaborate with various teams, including product development and engineering, to align sourcing strategies with product roadmaps. Your responsibilities will include managing supplier performance, conducting regular assessments, and implementing improvements to ensure long-term supply continuity.
You will also be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that align with WHOOP's growth objectives. This includes identifying new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships to ensure that WHOOP has access to the best components available. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to mitigate supply chain risks and ensure that product launches are successful.
