You have a strong background in software engineering and experience in leading teams β you've successfully built and managed engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. You possess a deep understanding of software development processes and best practices β you are skilled in driving the delivery of complex projects and have a track record of implementing operational processes that enhance team efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to bridge gaps and facilitate successful collaborations.
What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager at WHOOP, you will be responsible for jumpstarting the Ecosystem team from the ground up β this includes hiring and developing engineers who will contribute to the core integration platform and partner-facing APIs. You will lead the team in delivering high-quality integrations at scale, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of third-party companies and app partners.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project requirements and deliverables. Your role will involve setting clear goals and expectations for your team, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback to help team members excel in their roles.
In addition to team management, you will also be involved in strategic planning and execution β you will assess the technical landscape and identify opportunities for innovation within the Ecosystem. Your insights will help shape the direction of the team and the technologies used in the development process.
