You have a solid technical foundation in mechanical engineering, with experience in designing and developing hardware solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can drive creative mechanical design solutions with independence and sound technical judgment. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly is essential, as you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
You are energized by complex challenges and have a commitment to product excellence. Your experience includes supporting prototyping, mechanical design, and testing efforts, ensuring high-quality deliverables. You understand the importance of engineering risk management and are adept at navigating the fast-paced nature of product development.
Desirable
Experience with rechargeable energy accessories or similar hardware products is a plus. Familiarity with engineering validation builds and collaboration with contract manufacturers will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
What you'll do
As a Mechanical Engineer II on the Hardware NPI Team at WHOOP, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative hardware solutions. You will support prototyping and mechanical design efforts, ensuring that the products meet high-quality standards. Your role will involve collaborating with engineers and designers to bring innovative concepts to life, focusing on execution-driven results.
You will work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers around the world, executing engineering validation builds and managing engineering risks effectively. Your commitment to clear technical communication will be vital as you provide updates and insights to both internal teams and external partners.
