What you'll do

In this role, you will help design, develop, and deliver security features with a focus on safety and compliance. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure they make safe architectural and implementation choices. Your hands-on approach will involve working directly on the MediaWiki platform, which powers Wikipedia, and addressing new security challenges such as modern authentication technologies and platform abuse prevention.

You will be responsible for planning and rolling out improvements to the security architecture, defending against emerging threats while maintaining stringent performance standards.
