Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, specifically with Java and Spring Boot, and you understand the intricacies of building scalable systems that can handle high throughput. Your expertise in Kafka allows you to effectively publish and consume messages, and you have a solid grasp of topics, partitions, and consumer groups — ensuring that data flows seamlessly through your applications.

You are familiar with architectural patterns and design patterns, which you apply to create robust and maintainable code. Your understanding of Object-Oriented Architecture enables you to design systems that are both efficient and easy to understand. You are also skilled in unit testing, using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito to ensure the reliability of your code.

While not required, you have a keen interest in AI tooling and can leverage AI tools to optimize your workflow, whether it's through drafting, analysis, or process automation. You are proactive in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within your team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Java/Kafka Software Engineer at Wizeline, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge, AI-powered digital products and platforms.
