Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong background in building logical and physical data models. Your expertise includes working with Databricks, Snowflake, and Hive, and you understand how to optimize data designs to meet business requirements. You are skilled in collaborating with product teams to define data sources and Key Performance Indicators, ensuring that data aligns with business goals. Your analytical skills allow you to assess existing data stores and interfaces, supporting both current and future data models effectively.

You are a proactive communicator who enjoys partnering with engineering squads to create physical data designs and implement business rules. Your experience includes working with enterprise data management and strategy, contributing to the implementation of business glossaries and governance practices. You thrive in environments that value innovation and inclusivity, and you are committed to continuous learning and development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with information architecture to build logical and canonical data models that support data, BI Analytics, and AI/ML products. You will collaborate with product teams to define data sources and ensure that data meets business requirements. Your responsibilities will include optimizing data designs and rationalizing data objects across various data products to reduce redundancies and duplication. You will analyze existing data stores and interfaces to support both current state and future data models, ensuring alignment with conceptual data models.

You will work closely with engineering squads to create physical data designs and implement business rules effectively. Additionally, you will partner with report developers to align dataset design with report design, ensuring that the data architecture supports the reporting needs of the organization. Your role will also involve contributing to the governance and stewardship of data, ensuring that data management practices are adhered to across the organization.
