Workato is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the Build Experience team. You'll be responsible for driving product strategy and collaborating with technical and non-technical users. This role requires strong communication skills and experience in product management.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in product management, ideally with experience in building products that cater to both technical and non-technical users. Your strong written and verbal communication skills enable you to articulate design rationale to engineering teams and advocate for user needs to leadership. You understand the importance of clear product specifications and ensure that interaction details are meticulously documented.
With a minimum of 5 years in product management, you have successfully led cross-functional teams and driven product initiatives from conception to launch. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at balancing the needs of various stakeholders while maintaining a user-centric approach. Your analytical mindset allows you to leverage data to inform product decisions and measure success effectively.
You are passionate about technology and its potential to transform business operations. Your experience with enterprise software solutions gives you insight into the challenges organizations face and how to address them through innovative product features. You are comfortable navigating complex workflows and can simplify them for end-users, enhancing their overall experience.
Desirable
Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with tools that facilitate product development and project management will be advantageous. A background in AI-powered platforms or enterprise orchestration is a plus, as it aligns with Workato's mission to streamline operations through technology.
What you'll do
As a Staff Product Manager at Workato, you will take ownership of the Build Experience product area, driving the vision and strategy to enhance user engagement and satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product roadmaps and prioritize features that deliver maximum value to users. Your role will involve conducting user research to gather insights and feedback, which will inform product enhancements and new feature development.
You will lead product discovery sessions, ensuring that all voices are heard and that the final product aligns with user needs and business objectives. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language will be crucial as you advocate for builder needs to leadership and other stakeholders.
In this role, you will also be responsible for defining success metrics and tracking product performance post-launch. You will analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, iterating on the product based on user feedback and performance insights. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
