You are an experienced security engineer with a strong background in cloud product security and authentication. You have a passion for staying up to date on the latest security trends and technologies, and you understand the importance of building secure products by design. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working across different teams to influence security strategies and practices.
You have a proven track record of defining and coordinating security efforts within an organization. Your empathetic approach to problem-solving allows you to effectively communicate security needs and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive in seeking feedback and new perspectives to enhance the developer experience and security posture of the products you work on.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and coordinating security efforts across WorkOS. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that security is integrated into the product development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include implementing security features such as Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Auth, and Audit Logs, ensuring that they meet industry standards and best practices.
You will also be tasked with conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will help create a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization. Your strategic mindset will be essential as you influence long-term security strategies while delivering on key initiatives during the company's growth phase.
