You are an engineer with a strong background in software development and cloud-based platforms, particularly in the context of IoT. You possess excellent skills in backend development and system design, with a passion for creating innovative solutions that enhance smart home experiences. Your experience includes developing software for IoT devices, and you are familiar with various communication protocols and cloud integrations. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to share your knowledge with your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience with asynchronous communication methods and real-time data processing is a plus. Familiarity with smart home systems and their architecture will help you excel in this role. You are also encouraged to bring any additional skills that could enhance the team's capabilities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing software for IoT devices that support next-generation smart home experiences. You will work on the development and operation of device software used in smart home systems, primarily utilizing Python within a Docker environment. Your responsibilities will include driving the entire development process from requirements definition to architecture design, implementation, and testing. You will design real-time control and data processing systems using asynchronous communication methods like MQTT. Additionally, you will optimize the IoT protocol layer, including modifications and adjustments to firmware for Thread and Zigbee using C language. Collaboration with diverse teams will be essential to ensure the implementation of secure, reliable, and scalable systems. You will also promote knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance technical skills and foster growth.
