Xometry is seeking a Director of Category Management to develop and manage category strategy for their CNC and Tooling business. This role requires strong negotiation skills and cross-functional project management experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in category management, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Your expertise lies in developing and executing strategic plans that align with business goals, particularly in the manufacturing sector. You excel in negotiation, both internally and externally, and have a knack for managing key business metrics effectively. Your ability to work cross-functionally makes you an asset in any collaborative environment, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
You are comfortable navigating complex challenges and can articulate tactical plans that drive results. Your experience in managing supplier relationships, particularly in CNC and tooling, equips you with the insights needed to optimize performance and profitability. You understand the nuances of the manufacturing landscape and are adept at leveraging data to inform your decisions.
Desirable
Experience with AI-enabled marketplaces or digital platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies such as CNC machining, 3D printing, and injection molding. What you'll do
