What you'll do

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Xometry, you will lead the Generative AI team, setting the technical direction and establishing best practices for model development. You will drive the AI strategy, identifying valuable opportunities to leverage generative AI across Xometry’s digital marketplace. Your responsibilities will include building and deploying large language and generative models for multimodal document processing and structured data extraction. You will innovate by exploring new ways to combine text, images, and 3D data, unlocking smarter solutions for complex manufacturing challenges. Additionally, you will engineer scalable data pipelines and training workflows capable of handling massive datasets, ensuring that your models are robust and efficient. You will also be involved in deploying these models in the cloud, utilizing AWS to ensure high availability and performance.
