What you'll do

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Xometry, you will lead the technical direction for the Generative AI team, setting best practices and inspiring innovation. You will drive the AI roadmap, identifying valuable opportunities to apply generative AI across Xometry’s marketplace. Your role will involve developing and deploying large language and generative models for multimodal document processing and structured data extraction. You will explore new ways to combine text, images, and 3D data to unlock smarter, faster solutions. Additionally, you will create data pipelines and training workflows that can handle massive, complex datasets, ensuring that your models are robust and scalable. You will also be responsible for deploying your solutions in the cloud, leveraging AWS to ensure high availability and performance.
