Who you are
You have extensive experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects that deliver significant business value. Your expertise in generative AI and advanced machine-learning platforms positions you as a subject-matter expert within your organization. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with engineering, product, design, and business leadership to drive innovation and efficiency.
You possess strong technical leadership skills, enabling you to define and execute an 18- to 24-month technical roadmap that balances breakthrough innovation with practical business applications. You are adept at identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and competitive differentiation, particularly in areas involving 2D/3D part understanding.
Your problem-solving abilities allow you to proactively remove roadblocks for teams, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and efficiently. You are comfortable tackling challenges that extend beyond your immediate scope, demonstrating a commitment to the overall success of the organization.
Desirable
Experience with large-scale vision and 3D pipelines is a plus, as is familiarity with foundational models in machine learning. You are passionate about staying at the forefront of technological advancements in AI and ML, continuously seeking to enhance your knowledge and skills.

You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including engineering, product, and design teams, to influence partner roadmaps and resource allocation. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across teams.
As a respected subject-matter expert, you will proactively identify and lead on opportunities that enhance Xometryβs competitive edge in the market. You will tackle challenges related to 2D/3D part understanding and generative AI, driving initiatives that push the boundaries of what is possible in manufacturing.
