You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in customer engagement and technical expertise, particularly in the aerospace and defense industries. You have a proven track record of supporting sales teams and driving account growth through your technical insights and project management skills. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to bridge the gap between engineering and customer needs. You are enthusiastic about digital manufacturing and have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by manufacturers today.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with Account Executives to identify and address potential manufacturing challenges. Your proactive approach ensures that you stay informed about upcoming customer projects and initiatives, allowing you to provide valuable insights that align with their goals. You are passionate about helping customers succeed and are committed to delivering exceptional service.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention by providing technical support and insights. You will engage with customers to understand their needs and challenges, helping them navigate the complexities of manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include joining Account Executives on onsite visits to customers, where you will share your expertise and provide solutions to their manufacturing challenges. You will also be responsible for organizing and executing major projects, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with customer expectations and company goals.
You will play a critical role in the Pre-Sales Engineering community, collaborating with both Sales and Operations to enhance customer engagement strategies. Your technical knowledge will be essential in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation within the manufacturing process. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and advancements, ensuring that Xometry remains at the forefront of digital manufacturing solutions.
