Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for customer success and a desire to make a real impact. You have experience in customer-facing roles, where you've acted as a trusted advisor and technical expert, building strong relationships with clients. Your background in engineering allows you to collaborate effectively with customer engineers on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize projects for Xometry's platform. You stay informed about upcoming customer projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Xometry's goals. You are proactive in identifying and addressing potential manufacturing challenges, demonstrating your commitment to customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
As a Technical Account Manager at Xometry, you will be embedded within our most strategic accounts, acting as an extension of their engineering teams. You will conduct weekly onsite visits at customer and partner locations, fostering relationships and understanding their needs. Your role will involve collaborating closely with customer engineers to optimize projects for our platform, ensuring that manufacturing challenges are addressed proactively. You will report into Operations while working closely with Sales to drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise will be crucial in guiding customers through the integration process, making you a key player in their success.
