You have a strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP β you understand the intricacies of revenue recognition and can navigate complex accounting standards with ease. You thrive in a deadline-driven environment and are motivated to learn and grow within a fast-paced organization. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy in financial reporting, and you are proactive in identifying areas for process improvement.
You are an ambitious self-starter who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams β you can communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Your analytical skills allow you to dissect financial data and provide insights that drive decision-making. You are committed to maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the monthly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You will have significant involvement in general accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Your contributions will help streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency. You will collaborate with the U.S. based Senior Revenue Accounting Manager to implement best practices and enhance the overall effectiveness of the revenue accounting team.
You will also participate in audits and assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will provide you with exposure across divisions and with leaders at Yext, allowing you to gain valuable experience in a growing company.
