You are a highly motivated Senior Accountant with a strong background in revenue accounting and financial operations. You have experience in preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, and you are adept at analyzing financial results and variances. Your attention to detail ensures accuracy in financial reporting, and you are committed to maintaining SOX compliance within the organization.

What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of the Revenue Accounting Operations team, contributing to the month-end close process and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations. You will prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations for various accounts, analyzing monthly financial results and variances to report and investigate discrepancies. Your analytical skills will be crucial in developing and analyzing financials and KPIs across different areas of the business.
You will collaborate closely with Finance Technology to evolve and optimize Uber's internal revenue systems, driving process efficiency through automation. This position requires flexibility during the month-end financial close cycle, where you may need to adjust your working hours to support critical business operations. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that shape the broader accounting organization.
