Your experience includes hands-on coding and developing Proofs of Concept (POCs) to solve complex challenges. You excel in mentoring engineers and facilitating knowledge transfer within your team, ensuring high standards of engineering quality.

You are familiar with data engineering concepts and tools, including Kafka, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, and have experience with big data technologies like Spark and Databricks. Your understanding of AI integration and developer experience tools positions you as a forward-thinking leader in the tech space.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Tech Lead at Yotpo, you will be the technical compass for your group, bridging the gap between high-level architectural vision and on-the-ground execution. You will plan and align the technical roadmap for your teams, collaborating closely with product stakeholders to ensure that architectural decisions support long-term business goals. Your hands-on execution will involve building POCs, contributing to complex feature development, and solving the hardest technical challenges alongside your team.

You will lead technical forums and facilitate workshops to promote continuous improvement and innovation within your team. Your role will also include mentoring engineers, driving cross-R&D initiatives, and aligning technology decisions with critical business objectives. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in engineering practices.
