You possess effective interpersonal skills and can communicate fluently in Spanish or Portuguese and English, allowing you to engage with clients across Latin America. Your ability to analyze customer inquiries and specifications enables you to design and specify appropriate equipment tailored to their needs. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working both independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

You have hands-on experience or field experience with combustion equipment, which gives you a practical understanding of the technical requirements involved in proposal management. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office allows you to create and modify sales presentations and documents efficiently. You are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple proposals simultaneously, ensuring that each offering is complete and has the greatest potential for success.

What you'll do

As an Application Engineer at Zeeco, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting customer inquiries, including specifications, to design and specify the appropriate equipment for various applications. You will travel to customer facilities to provide site support and gather details necessary for technical reviews and proposal generation. Your role will involve assisting with the technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries, ensuring that all aspects of the proposal are thoroughly addressed.

You will develop cost estimates according to established guidelines and set product pricing using mark-up and commission schedules established by management. Additionally, you will determine the drawings needed for quotations and coordinate their completion, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely. Writing, editing, and issuing formal quotations to customers will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with following up on any correspondence during the quotation phase.

Post-proposal issuance, you will visit customers to discuss and negotiate proposals, providing status reports to management on overall proposal status and activities. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Flare Aftermarket Engineered Solutions business in Latin America, making your role crucial to the company's growth in this market.
