Who you are
You have extensive experience in database management, particularly with SQL Server, and have a proven track record of optimizing database performance for cloud-based applications. Your expertise in .NET Core and C# allows you to integrate database solutions seamlessly into the overall architecture of the software. You are familiar with AWS and understand how to leverage cloud technologies to enhance database reliability and scalability.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and can troubleshoot complex database issues effectively. Your experience with front-end technologies like jQuery and Angular enables you to collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that database solutions meet application requirements. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of data integrity and security.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the database engineering efforts at Zenoti, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL Server databases that support our all-in-one software solution for the beauty and wellness industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance business operations. Your responsibilities will include optimizing database queries, ensuring data security, and implementing best practices for database management.
You will also be involved in the migration of existing databases to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss during the transition. Collaborating with software engineers, you will help design and implement APIs that interact with the database, ensuring that data flows smoothly between the front-end and back-end systems. Your leadership will guide junior database engineers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
