What you'll do
As a Data Governance Intern at Zoox, you will be part of the Business Processes & Enterprise Data Governance team, focusing on building scalable and trusted data foundations. You will research and assess current data cataloging and metadata capabilities at Zoox, including platforms such as Databricks. Your role will involve identifying gaps and opportunities in existing data processes and articulating how these capabilities can better support the organization. You will contribute to foundational data education efforts, helping document and socialize core concepts such as data management, data governance, data lineage, data quality, and data ownership. This internship will provide you with exposure to enterprise-scale data platforms and the chance to influence how teams discover, understand, and trust data.
