You have a solid background in hardware-software integration, with experience in deploying complex systems for autonomous vehicles. Your expertise in Embedded Linux, C, C++, and Python allows you to effectively troubleshoot and debug integration issues. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the challenges of ensuring hardware systems operate predictably.

You have a proactive approach to problem-solving, often being the first responder to triage and debug difficult integration issues. Your experience in supporting bring-up and manufacturing operations for vehicles has equipped you with the skills to handle real-world challenges effectively. You understand the importance of reliability in hardware systems and are committed to maintaining high standards in your work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the deployment of next-generation compute, sensor, and data networking systems for Zoox's autonomous vehicles. You will ensure that various hardware subsystems work reliably on the vehicle platform on a day-to-day basis. Your responsibilities will include supporting the bring-up and manufacturing operations for the vehicle, ensuring that hardware systems operate predictably at all times. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, contributing to the overall success of the vehicle program.

You will be involved in the testing and validation of hardware components, ensuring they meet the required specifications and performance standards. Your role will also include documenting integration processes and providing feedback to improve system designs. You will work in a collaborative environment, engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
