Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in machine learning and a strong background in applying ML techniques to real-world problems, particularly in the context of autonomous vehicles. You are proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. Your understanding of simulation and scenario generation is complemented by your ability to work with complex datasets and algorithms. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy contributing to projects that have a tangible impact on safety and performance.
Desirable
Experience with natural language processing and its application in scenario generation is a plus. Familiarity with autonomous vehicle testing and validation processes will help you excel in this role. What you'll do
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Zoox, you will be part of the Simulation Scenario Generation team, focusing on developing scalable workflows for creating traffic simulations. You will leverage your machine learning expertise to enhance our agentic AI system, enabling it to assist in generating synthetic scenarios from natural language specifications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the scenarios you create are robust and effective for testing autonomous vehicles. You will also be responsible for analyzing the performance of the simulations and iterating on your designs based on feedback and testing results.
