You possess a solid understanding of the algorithms and methodologies used in machine learning, particularly in the context of sensor data. Your analytical skills enable you to assess the performance of simulation algorithms and iterate on them to achieve optimal results. You are comfortable working with large datasets and have experience in data validation and testing.

What you'll do

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Zoox, you will be at the forefront of developing and improving 3D sensor simulations. You will leverage your expertise in machine learning to create algorithms that simulate sensor data accurately, ensuring that the simulations closely mimic real-world scenarios. Collaborating with the Sensor Simulation, Perception, and Verification & Validation teams, you will evaluate the performance of your algorithms and make iterative improvements based on feedback and testing results.

Your role will involve accessing and utilizing the best sensor data available, allowing you to validate your algorithms against high-quality benchmarks. You will contribute to the development of real-time sensor data for hardware-in-the-loop simulations, playing a crucial role in the testing and validation of autonomous vehicle systems. You will also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge infrastructure designed for testing and validating machine learning algorithms, enhancing your ability to deliver high-quality results.
