What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing 3D sensor simulations for Zoox's autonomous vehicle technology. You will collaborate with the Sensor Simulation, Perception, and Verification & Validation teams to iteratively improve the fidelity of sensor simulations. Your work will involve utilizing the best sensor data available to create realistic synthetic data that is crucial for training and testing AI systems.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing algorithms that simulate sensor behavior under various conditions, ensuring that the simulations closely mimic real-world scenarios. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of autonomous systems, as you work to refine the algorithms that drive sensor data interpretation.

You will also engage in rigorous testing and validation of your algorithms, leveraging Zoox's advanced infrastructure to ensure that the simulations meet the highest standards of accuracy. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and 3D graphics, applying new techniques to enhance simulation capabilities.
