Your expertise spans various domains including electronics, powertrain, chassis, and safety systems, allowing you to understand complex supply chain dynamics. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with different teams to identify needs and drive sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.
Your negotiation skills are top-notch — you can lead discussions on pricing and terms with confidence, ensuring that both the company and suppliers achieve favorable outcomes. You are adept at drafting and issuing RFQs, and you have a keen eye for evaluating potential partners and suppliers based on their capabilities and alignment with Zoox's goals. You possess a proactive mindset, always looking for cost reduction opportunities and innovative solutions to enhance procurement processes.
What you'll do
As the Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for leading Zoox's strategic sourcing initiatives. You will work closely with various departments to understand their procurement needs and identify suitable third-party partners. Your role will involve drafting and issuing RFQs, negotiating terms and conditions, and managing ongoing supplier relationships to ensure alignment with our operational goals.
