Who you are
You have a strong background in technical sales, ideally with experience in cybersecurity solutions. You understand customer pain points and can articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with internal teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are results-driven and have a proven track record of successfully overseeing technical sales processes from start to finish. You are comfortable running Proof of Value demonstrations and can effectively showcase the value of Zscaler's solutions to potential customers. You are adaptable and can navigate the fast-paced nature of the cybersecurity industry, always staying updated on the latest trends and technologies.
Desirable
Experience with cloud-native security solutions or Zero Trust architectures would be a plus. Familiarity with networking concepts and cybersecurity best practices will help you excel in this role. You may also have experience working in a customer-facing role within the technology sector, which has equipped you with the skills to build strong relationships with clients.
What you'll do
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Zscaler, you will be responsible for leading the technical sales process and ensuring that our solutions meet the unique needs of our customers. You will collaborate with the Sales Engineering Manager and other internal teams to develop tailored solutions that address critical customer challenges. You will run Proof of Value engagements, demonstrating the effectiveness of our Zero Trust Exchange platform in real-world scenarios. Your role will involve engaging with customers to understand their requirements and translating those into actionable technical solutions. You will also provide ongoing support to the sales team, helping them to articulate the technical benefits of our offerings during customer interactions. You will play a key role in building high-performing teams that prioritize customer obsession and accountability, contributing to Zscaler's mission of transforming cybersecurity.
