Who you are
You have a strong background in design systems and product design, with experience in managing and evolving design frameworks across platforms. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with product designers and engineers, ensuring that design intent is translated into scalable solutions. You understand the importance of consistency and efficiency in product experiences and are passionate about creating high-quality design systems.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to coordinate effectively across teams and ensure alignment between design and engineering. Your ability to think critically about design and technical implementation allows you to make informed decisions that enhance the user experience. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
What you'll do
As the Design System Manager, you will own the functional and technical aspects of the Design System, ensuring it meets the needs of the product teams. You will collaborate closely with product squads, partnering with designers on component design and with engineers on implementation and migration. Your role will involve coordinating efforts across Product and Engineering to create a cohesive and scalable design system that enhances the overall platform experience.
You will lead initiatives to improve the quality and consistency of the design system, working to ensure that it evolves in line with user needs and technological advancements. You will also be responsible for conducting regular reviews of the design system, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and implementing changes as necessary to keep it relevant and effective.
