Backend Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have over 5 years of backend engineering experience, building production systems at scale — you've owned services from design through deployment and have tackled complex distributed systems issues. Your deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot means you've shipped high-throughput APIs that handle millions of requests, and you have strong opinions on service architecture, dependency injection, and testing strategies. You are familiar with cloud environments and have at least 3 years of experience developing and operating services on AWS and Kubernetes. Your experience with SQL and NoSQL database modeling and operations spans over 3 years, allowing you to optimize data structures and queries effectively. You have utilized distributed messaging and caching systems like Redis and Kafka, and you are proficient in using collaboration tools such as Git and Jira, along with CI/CD practices. Your experience includes developing RESTful APIs and managing large-scale services, ensuring high availability and performance.

Desirable

You have experience designing and operating service architectures for large user bases, particularly in B2B2C contexts. Your background includes service automation or backend algorithm development, and you have worked on system optimization and high-availability architecture in high-traffic environments. Experience with API development for mobile apps or SDK integration is a plus, as is familiarity with SaaS/PaaS service design and development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop scalable backend services that operate in a cloud environment, focusing on high availability and performance. You will be responsible for developing backend functionalities and algorithms for AI-based features such as price prediction and route optimization. Collaborating with external partners and corporate clients, you will ensure stable B2B API integrations. You will analyze functional requirements and design API interface structures, continuously monitoring service performance and refactoring for structural improvements. Your contributions will include participating in code reviews and making technical decisions to enhance quality. You will work in a cloud and container-based environment, ensuring the reliability and high availability of the services you develop.
