Who you are

You have a strong background in Linux system programming, with proficiency in C/C++ for multi-threaded and multi-process applications. Your embedded development experience includes working in Embedded Linux environments, and you possess a deep understanding of cross-compilation and build systems. You are skilled in scripting languages like Python and Bash, which you have used for test automation and tool development. You are familiar with collaboration tools such as Git and Jira for version control and issue tracking. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to analyze hardware and communication logs to debug low-level issues like kernel panics and memory leaks.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop the next-generation logistics and mobility platform (UMOS ONE) by creating high-performance vehicle data collection devices. You will be responsible for designing and implementing vehicle data applications that utilize high-speed networks and CAN-based sensor data collection. Your work will involve using standard protocols for ECU diagnostics and high-precision data logging. You will also build a reliable data pipeline based on 4G/5G communication, optimizing server transmission logic for real-time data processing. Additionally, you will establish an Embedded Linux platform, designing and operating custom Linux distributions based on Yocto/Buildroot, and porting bootloaders and kernels while optimizing device drivers. Ensuring system stability through mechanisms like watchdogs, recovery systems, and OTA updates will also be part of your responsibilities. You will address field issues and troubleshoot during the hardware manufacturing and mass production stages.
