Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of frontend development experience, demonstrating a strong ability to create and maintain complex web applications. Your expertise in React and state management libraries like Redux, Recoil, or Zustand allows you to build scalable and maintainable user interfaces. You are proficient in TypeScript, ensuring robust and error-free code through static typing, and you have a deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), which you leverage to create high-quality web applications.
You are familiar with Git and comfortable participating in collaborative code review processes, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices. Your experience includes optimizing web performance and improving accessibility, which enhances the overall user experience. You thrive in a team environment, working closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and service planners to deliver user-friendly services.
Desirable
Experience with server-side rendering frameworks like Next.js or Remix is a plus, as is familiarity with mobile web or WebView environments. You have a keen interest in building large-scale services and are eager to tackle complex challenges in the mobility sector.
What you'll do
As a Frontend Engineer at UMOS ONE, you will be responsible for developing and operating the frontend of key mobility services, including 'TAP!' and 'Capora'. You will utilize React and TypeScript to create high-performance components that effectively visualize real-time mobility data, such as maps and vehicle locations. Your role will involve collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure that the services are user-friendly and meet the needs of our customers.
You will lead technical efforts to optimize web performance and improve accessibility, driving initiatives that enhance the user experience. Additionally, you will be involved in building and maintaining a design system that is used across various services, ensuring consistency and quality in the user interface.
You will also contribute to the development environment by establishing automated testing frameworks, including E2E and unit tests, and integrating CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews and implementing architectural improvements to maintain high code quality while staying updated with the latest frontend technology trends.
