Who you are

You have experience in developing algorithms for event detection in driving and sensor time series data, including classification, anomaly detection, and change point detection. Your background includes application development, debugging, and performance tuning in Linux environments, particularly for automotive systems or smart devices. You possess strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, and Python, enabling you to implement complex algorithms effectively.

You are familiar with Yocto-based build systems and CI/CD processes, which enhances your ability to integrate software efficiently. Your knowledge of automotive protocols and stacks, along with experience in developing autonomous driving systems related to camera, LiDAR, and radar sensors, sets you apart. Additionally, you have a solid understanding of ISO-26262 and MISRA C/C++ standards, ensuring compliance with safety-critical software development practices.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing algorithms that detect various safety events during vehicle operation, such as accidents, risky driving behaviors, and malfunctions. You will implement these algorithms in Linux-based embedded software and integrate them into the Vehicle OS, contributing to the overall safety and user experience of the vehicles. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data generated from vehicles and users, deriving insights that will enhance service offerings.

You will also engage in performance tuning and debugging of applications to ensure optimal functionality in real-world scenarios. Your contributions will play a crucial role in creating a data loop that improves user experience by leveraging insights derived from vehicle data.
