Vehicle Application Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in an engineering field. You possess software development experience on Linux-based platforms such as Tizen, AGL, GENIVI, CCOS, or WebOS. Your programming skills in Rust, C, and C++ are strong, and you have a solid understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing. You are familiar with messaging frameworks like DDS, gRPC, Some/IP, and MQTT, and you have excellent problem-solving abilities.

Desirable

Experience with application profiling and debugging is a plus. You are proficient in Rust programming and have hands-on experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS). Your background includes software development for distributed systems, which enhances your capability to contribute effectively to the team.

What you'll do

As a Vehicle Application Engineer at 42dot, you will develop vehicle applications based on the Pleos Vehicle OS, ensuring application stability through a fault-tolerant architecture. You will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the quality of the applications you develop. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement core functionalities such as vehicle control, user interfaces, user management, remote control, and data collection and analysis. You will leverage your expertise in distributed messaging frameworks to create reliable and scalable applications that meet the demands of modern vehicle systems.
