Overview

42dot is hiring a Senior PCB 설계 Engineer to design and manufacture advanced electronic systems. You'll work with Cadence Allegro and OrCAD to create high-speed, multilayer PCB layouts. This position requires over 10 years of experience in PCB design, preferably in automotive electronics.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and over 10 years of practical experience in PCB artwork, particularly in automotive or industrial applications. Your expertise includes high-speed signal design, power distribution, and impedance control, making you a valuable asset to our team.

You are proficient in using Cadence Allegro and OrCAD tools, applying design constraints effectively to ensure optimal performance. Your understanding of IPC standards, including IPC-2221 and IPC-7351, allows you to create designs that meet industry requirements and ensure high quality.

You possess strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively with hardware development teams and contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews. Your experience with blind/buried vias, HDI, and high-Tg stack-up designs is a plus, as is your knowledge of EMC/EMI reduction techniques.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design high-speed, multilayer PCB artwork and layouts, considering signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic interference (EMI) for optimized designs. You will collaborate closely with hardware development teams to ensure that designs are manufacturable and meet all necessary specifications.

You will generate manufacturing outputs such as Gerber files, drill files, and BOMs, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up to date. You will also participate in internal reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs continuously.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining design documentation and history, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and adhering to automotive OEM design criteria. You will also have the opportunity to work with machine learning-based artwork automation tools, enhancing your design capabilities.

What we offer

At 42dot, we foster an agile development culture and a flexible collaborative environment. You will be part of a team that values innovation and creativity, working on cutting-edge electronic systems that shape the future of automotive technology. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in the potential of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development within the company. Join us in our mission to revolutionize the automotive industry through advanced electronic design.
