You have a background in developing bootloaders and device drivers, and you understand the intricacies of vehicle systems, allowing you to collaborate effectively across different domains. Your experience with scalable system design ensures that you can contribute to the development of robust vehicle control systems.

Desirable

You have worked on projects involving various real-time operating systems, whether open-source or proprietary, and have experience developing microcontroller-based bootloaders. Your familiarity with OEM and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry gives you insights into body, chassis, powertrain, IVI, and cluster control systems.

You possess skills in motor control algorithms and have experience developing controllers for various vehicle motors, such as BLDC and PMSM. Your ability to work with middleware based on RTPS, such as DDS or MQTT, enhances your capability to develop sophisticated vehicle systems.

What you'll do

As an MCU System Engineer at 42dot, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance MCU-based systems for software-defined vehicles (SDV). Your role will involve creating hardware abstraction layers and system platforms that optimize the performance of mission-critical systems.

You will develop bootloaders and device drivers, ensuring that the vehicle systems maintain fault tolerance through redundant designs. Your work will require a deep understanding of hardware to create scalable systems that can adapt to various vehicle communication protocols.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop vehicle system abstraction layers, ensuring seamless integration with various domain systems. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing system performance and reliability, contributing to the overall success of the vehicle systems.
